1. Wash and Clean your Hands Frequently
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 to 30 seconds specially after you have been in a public places like bank, store etc; or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. And do not touch your nose, eyes and mouth with unwashed hands.
If soap and water are not available, you can use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Place enough sanitizer in your palm to thoroughly cover hands and rub hands together quickly until dry.
2. Maintain Social Distancing
Maintain physical distance at least 2 meters (6 feet) between yourself and anybody who is coughing or sneezing.
Why Social Distancing? When anyone coughs or sneezes, if you are too nearby them, may you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.
3. Take Steps to Protect Others
Stay at home if you are unwell, except when it’s an emergency or to get the medical care. Cover up your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when you cough or sneeze.
Without any delay wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 to 30 seconds or use sanitizer.
Wear a facemask but how and when?
If you are not feeling well; You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or public places) and if you are not able to wear a facemask because it makes trouble breathing, then you should do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes, and a person who caring for you he/her should wear a facemask in your room.
If you are NOT sick; you do not have to wear a facemask unless you are caring for sick people.
4. How to Wear a Facemask; WHO guidelines
Before using a mask, you should have to wash hands with soap and water or use of alcohol-based sanitizer.
Make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask while using a mask .
While using it; if you do, clean your hands with alcohol-based (sanitizer) hand rub or soap and water.
After using the mask replace with a new one as soon as and not re-use single-use masks.
To remove the mask; it from behind, do not touch the front of mask; dispose it immediately in a closed bin; wash hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub.
5. Clean and disinfect
Clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces daily.( ie; light switches, handles, tables, desks, phones, TV remote, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks etc.
